2008 X Winery - Nova Vineyards "Organically Grown" Zinfandel

Description

The newly released 2008 "Organically Grown" Zinfandel is a California Certified Organically Farmed (CCOF) wine and is sealed with natural corks that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Rainforest Alliance.

The 2008 Nova Zinfandel is hand nurtured from 40 year old, nearly all dry grown vines from Nova Vineyards. The 2008 vintage brings that same classic expression of a Lake County Zinfandel, richness with a bit of elegance, for the same incredible value.

The X team would pair this wine with barbecue ribs, tomato-based sauces, sausages, pizza, grilled vegetables or Cajun cuisine.

This wine is sealed with an FSC-Certified cork.

Vintage/Vineyard Information

Planted in the mid 1960s, Nova Vineyard is located on the bench lands of Kelseyville in Lake County, California. The vineyard is on an ancient alluvial riverbed near the base of Mt. Konocti volcano
